If she is not using oil or smoking, I wouldn't worry about a rebuild. As for the clutch plates, they are probably due to be changed. Again though, if they are not slipping under acceleration you are probably ok.
If you are really curious about your engine, do a compression test. I'm not sure about the 450 foreman but I imagine if you have over 110 psi your in good shape.

Agree with Madwolverine. You want to keep your eye on things but not sense fixing it until it shows some signs that it need something. Actually, some of the better running and shifting 450's I've seen come into our shop had 7 - 9K on them.
