Rincon vs Rubicon

I would say the Rubicon, I just ordered one and am picking it up Sat. And thats going from a 660! I think the Ruby has as much bottom end power as my Grizz. Because its not belt driven. I don't like the Rincon because it is low on power considering it has 150cc more(05), and it has no 3rd headlight, only one range, the front rack is smaller, and it has no front bumper. Just my 2 cents !!

Agreed! My best friend has an 04 Grizz...and he feels my CTE is the better all around quad! He also says he can beat 03 Rincons in a race a hell of alot easier then he can me. I>>>>>>>>
How much does this really matter though? If the average speed of a trail rider is 12 MPH who really cares? If you want speed get a sport bike like I did to compliment the utility. Then you have the best of both worlds. )
I found an awsome place to ride last week and right now am trying to decide which I want to ride today, the Rincon or the DS?? Since I've already gone out there on the Rincon I think I'll go for the DS today!

I own both and the rincon is much smoother and faster ! Do you ride to have alot of fun ? or do you just poke around and work ?
With very little modifications they are both by far the best out there for my type of riding, swamps, sand pits and deep water.

What year is your Rubicon, and is it a CTE.....because I guarentee a Rincon is not "much" smoother than a CTE if any, or much faster for that matter. Definately not as strong overall, but then again it is a recreational machine as opposed to a utility quad (atleast that's what Honda says).

Really the 06's aren't either. Basically it all comes down to reiability. Which all you Honda lover's can agree on. I just like more gears to play with. Which makes me think the Ruby will have more actual pulling power. May not ride better, or have the ground clearance, but it should take the corners better. Who in the hell knows, everyone has there differences. And its all in the terrian you drive in too.

how can you say the rincon can pack more weight.
its racks are smaller and its factory weight recamondation is lower then the rubicon so what are you talking about.
i looked at both when i got mine and i bet the rubicon will haul a moose out of the bush easyer then the rincon.
also thre rincon is irs and the rubicon is not.
so with alot of weight on the rinny it will squat like a girl to pee.
and the rubicon wont do that.
the rinny might be faster and smoother because its more of a sport quad.
the rubicon is made for heavy and hard work.
the rincon was made for trails and open roads, it was never ment to do hard work or it would have a low gear and it dont.
so just because you have a rincon dosent mean its a better quad.
the new cte rubicon is a way smoother ride then the former rubicon and im sure it has more power also because you can put it into 2 wheel drive as the 04s are fulltime 4x4.
