LRD or Sparks for my new 400ex?

How long have you had yours??? I've had mine for almost a year now and I bought mine right from LRD and I paid 334.00 chromed!!. Now I'm looking in a mag and they are saying 299.95 w/head pipe and tack on 65.00 for chromed!! Well, if thats what you paid then you gotta good deal! thats cool.

Don't ever ask for advice on the internet before you consult your own crew, the Sac-Up Racing Crew. We are the ones that are going to have to listen to your lawn mower.... you should probably ask us first. I get my bike back this week, Eric and I are going riding hopefully Sunday. Well of course I will have you guys be the finnal say, if I dont I will never hear the end of it. Besides you guys are the ones who got me started on these race pipes, I am just looking for outside advice. I think that if I can score the LRD at the price that this one guy did then I wont be a lawn mower anymore. ANd congrates on finnally getting your parts, you must be stoked. I got a flat this weekend with Eric so hopefully I can get it fixed, if not I might have to get a couple of Hole Shots. Hopefully not! Times are tight. I cant wait to see what your bike can do now! Hopefully I can join you this weekend. ANd by the way how much have you seen the LRD going for? 300 is a pretty good price. Later-

ID BET MY BIKE THAT NO PIPE AND SILENCER ALONE WILL AD 5-7 HP!! ! ! ANYBODY WHO KNOWS ANYTHING BOUT DYNOS KNOWS THAT AINT TRUE..THEY WILL ADD ONE HP AT SO MANY RPMS AND ADD THEM ALL UP..FOR EXAMPLE, AT 1000RPMS YOU NORMALLY HAVE 5 HORSES, BUT NOW YOU HAVE 6, THEN AT 2000RPMS YOU NORMALLY HAVE 7, BUT NOW YOU HAVE EIGHT...SEE YOU REALLY ONLY GAINED ONE HP, BUT THEY WILL ADD THEM TOGETHER TO GIVE YOU A FALSE READING...I HAVE THE DMC DOUBLE BARREL...I LOVE IT..IT USES A MOUNTING BRACKET, UNLIKE DUNCANS DOUBLE BARREL, THEY USE A STRAP ON THE SILENCER, SO IF YOU BOTTOM OUT, YOUR BRAKE CALIPER WILL BREAK YOUR SILENCER OFF...DMC OFFSETS THEIRS AWAY FROM THE CALIPER...
