450r carb install on 400ex..

Default 450r carb install on 400ex..

I just purchased one and Im putting on tommorow. What do I do with the 2 plugs that come off the carb? Do I just tie the and hide them. I know I have to move my box up a lil but any other advice?

Did you get this installed? If you didn't get your answers, yes you can just tie the wires up out of the way or clip them off. I would also suggest drilling out the side vent to use in place of the top one and grinding down the top one and pluging it, otherwise the tank will rest on it.

Here is a good thread with some pictures.. Let me know how that works out on your stock bore EX.

Default 450r carb install on 400ex..

I actually just put a ross piston 416 10.8-1 in it with a stage 2 hotcams and rev box. I am waiting for my cable now and as soon as I get it Ill fit it on the bike.
