I have recently bought a 1987 Honda TRX250X, today it developed a fuel leak, a bad one!!
It is located right under the tank (where the reserve/fuel valve connects to the bottom of the tank. I mean it is pouring out...a drip about every 2 seconds or so. Is this a normal problem and if so, how do I fix it?

 

if you drain the gas out and inspect it enough you shuold be able to find out whats wrong with it

 

I don't know about the 250X but there is an o-ring between the petcock and the tank on a trx250R. My tank was leaking on my 250R and I just replaced the o-ring and the leaking stopped.

My 250X did that and it was a old bad petcock and when the new one was on it worked fine
