Hey chad..man i looked on ebay and some of the seller's who sell carrier's advertise them for 250R and 400ex. I read the auction pretty carefully to see if it say's you must specify which bike you have and it dosn't. You could probably try asking one of those seller's the question.

I noticed that too, but thanks for checking that out. I've learned they are interchangable, but the question about the swingarm bearings is still outstanding.
BTW the letha, what do those new stickers look like from the marc ?

i looked at the 87' items 28 are the bearings in that drawing check the parts list.
that is similar to the set up on the 400ex

i have not done that model of swing arm only the 88-89 and the EX

Thanks for the help bro. I think the peices Im seeing seized inside the bore are the reminents of the needle bearings. It looks like the outter rings. When we removed it they basically fell out as dust in my hand, probably the origional from 87. I'll know more once the bearings come in and we can mock it up and see what works, but again thanks for the help.
