rattling noise on rincon
I think I can help.
I called my dealer about a noise emanating from the bike under braking and was told that this was normal and that it was coming from the sealed brake. I wanted to bring it in just to be sure and, after they took it apart, the verdict was the same. If you hear the noise under braking, it's the same problem. Honda knows about it and says it's nothing to be concerned with. I've put about 200 miles on mine since then and don't even notice it any more.
One way to find out if this is the same problem is to first identify when the noise is taking place. If it's happening only when the bike is decelerating, try repeating the same stop in 2wd using only the front brake. This should make it almost imperceptible, thereby affirming that you do have the same noise. If so, it's very common and nothing to worry about. I don't, however, think you should let the decision lie in this post. Bring it into the dealer, or give them a call anyway, especially if it will quiet the "uh-oh" in your mind.
Really hope this is your problem and I have been of some help.
