Rebuilding 300EX Engine

I have taken a 300ex apart, and put it back together wrong. The cam chain tensioner is automatic. When you take it off the cylinder it travels to its maximum adjustment. I did not know that, it needs backed off(and held) while installed. If you have the service manual, this is well covered. If you don't have a book you might want to throw the $20 at it.

Badlands is a great place to ride we are going up on the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of April. like mentioned in the other post I would stay away from the port and polish for the possible problems that could happen it would not be worth the small increase in power, unless you have it done by a pro.
