Default should I upgrade

I don't know what I should do I have a 300Ex and I don't know if I should just put some upgrades on it or if I should just go to a 400. Also I would like to know what is the most you think I could get out of a 1996 300Ex. Also if I should upgrade I don't know what to get should I get the 400EX,Z400,KFX400,or the DVX 400 which is better and which is the cheapest. The only reason is I am now 14 going to be 15 and I just wan't something that has more power and is fast. I do just about every kind of riding there is snow, mud, sand, trails etc...

All it takes is money.

If resources are light, you may want to go for a used 400ex. The difference between the 300ex and the 400ex is quite remarkable. Unlike the z400 based machines, you can find decent used 400ex machines for pretty reasonable prices.

I agree with robbls. A 400EX would be a very reliable machine for you that you could upgrade as you go along. You can overcome almost any of the 400EX's shortcommings compaired to the LTZ with upgrades. I am 35 years old and ride a moderately upgraded 400EX and I am still happy with its performance and handeling.
