110warewolf, before you even say ANYTHING to me, take a look at what your riding and then come back and criticise me for what i said, either you people are illiterate, and cant read, and/ or you have NO life, so you keep having to bother me.....

i used to like this forum, now its full of a bunch of trash talkers.

my advice to all go out and ride what you got, and not itch at others, like a bunch of school girls.

let this post lie and die please

KYLE
Well kyle it can't die just yet. It's always important to not only have a solution...but the correct solution. There are 10 ways to skin a cat...but only one way a gear ratio works.

And knocking a fellow ATVer quad. Ouch...yall should be ashamed. It's one thing to say to yourself, it's another to post it. You think everyone thought that 230 was pretty? This could be his first quad, only thing he can afford, who knows the story. Heck my first bike was a Briggs powered mini-bike. Maybe funny to me now but back then is was my love. Not everyone can be 15-16 and own 3-4 atvs, couple dirt bikes, snowmobile maybe, car(s). And pay for it with their own money.

You know even Jeff Ward started out on some enduro bike with 2" of travel.

I wasn't busting on his machines. I was busting on the condition of his machines. I drove the ugliest cheapest 1973 Ford Maverick for the longest time. Lots of people gave me sh*t but I didn't care because it got the job done. I did however maintain that vehicle like it was new. It got the oil changed at 3000 miles, transmission flid, brake jobs ect. Its how you take care of what you have not what you have.

Default this is a dumb question:

Vinson, what kind of CADD program are you using to input your frame in to find weak points? I work in the CADD field too, and don't know how you do this. Something is a bit fishy here. It wasn't Autocad you did this on. You can't create a continueing object on 3 axis's in autocad, like with a quad frame you would have to do! It ain't possible. Even if you magically did, how is it going to show you weak points in the frame?

And I want to know what the he!! is wrong with Rednecks?

Once again I said nothing about beauty. It is all about pride in ownership.

And as a side note I try to convince my wife weekly we are rednecks. She won't buy it despite the four cars in the drive way that are in various states of repair.

Did you ever think they were in rough shape to begin with? Not everyone has the $$$ to make everything pretty with new plastics, seats, etc. You're out of line.

Did you even read my post! I said its not what you have its how you take care of it. I understand not having the money to fix things I've never had a lot of money, that is exactly why the things I own (4year old quad, 11 year old jeep, 95 year old house are you getting the picture) are maintained the best to my ability. I will give the guy an award for the most creative use of a pickle bucket I have ever seen and I mean that honestly. I thought it was a Kawasaki fender for the longest time, almost got one buy me.
