dont no where to post this so im going to try here.
I just bought my g/f a 300ex 2001 will 40hours on it it has a DG pipe and silencer thats it ever this eles is stock
my ? is will a 2002 warrior with FMF pipe silencer and jet kit bet a 300 ex?

it will come down to which bike is running/tunned better. their pretty much equal and depends on rider and shape of each bike. either could win on any givin day. Oh, and let me be the first to say,welcome to the fourms [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

thats what i was kinda thinkin i dont have a jet kkit in the 300ex how can you tell if you need one?the guy that ridin the warrior is about 5'10 240lbs my old lady is 5'9 135lbs that why i thought she might have a chance.

If the 300ex has a DG Pipe and silencer you should definately get an aftermarket air filter, either uniflo or k&n, and rejet the carb. It is probably already running lean with the DG setup on it.

You can buy individual jets at your local dealer, $5.00 - $9.00 each.
Running your quad lean will make it run too hot and can damage/ruin your engine. Get a shop manual.
I'm not sure what size you stock jetting is on the 300ex but I'm sure there are others on here who can tell you what size jet you should go to.

yea the warrior should take it on top but its sooo heavy it will take a little longer to get there than the 300ex but it also depends on the rider ability to... and you better jet that bike cause it prolly runnin way to lean
