it will come down to which bike is running/tunned better. their pretty much equal and depends on rider and shape of each bike. either could win on any givin day. Oh, and let me be the first to say, welcome to the fourms

I have owned both these bikes. Who cares which is faster. The EX handles good. The Warrior handles bad.

If the 300ex has a DG Pipe and silencer you should definately get an aftermarket air filter, either uniflo or k&n, and rejet the carb. It is probably already running lean with the DG setup on it.

You can buy individual jets at your local dealer, $5.00 - $9.00 each.
Running your quad lean will make it run too hot and can damage/ruin your engine. Get a shop manual.
I'm not sure what size you stock jetting is on the 300ex but I'm sure there are others on here who can tell you what size jet you should go to.

yea the warrior should take it on top but its sooo heavy it will take a little longer to get there than the 300ex but it also depends on the rider ability to... and you better jet that bike cause it prolly runnin way to lean
