I just bought a 2004 FourTrax Foreman 4x4 ES. Does anyone know what the top speed is supposed to be? I've read reviews of people saying anywhere from 42-58 mph. I only got mine up to 47. Speed isn't really important, but I'm just curious about how fast it's supposed to be able to go. Also, if anyone else in here has bought a 2004 FourTrax Foreman 4x4 ES, what did they pay for it, after taxes and fees?

 

Ive got an 03, and 48 is about all mine will do, and thats by gps, the speedometer said 50 and i was going down a slight grade. if someone is saying 58, ...i doubt it. i think about 52 would be max if the tires were pumped up to 10 psi and everything was running good.

 

my friend dad has one and he paid like 6,200 after everything was said and done

 

This past October I purchased mine new at the dealership. It is not the ES model though. They wanted 5500 out the door stone stock, or 6050 with the bigfoot kit. I took the bigfoot kit as part of the deal. I went tax exempt since I own a horse farm and use it here as well. I have seen them since advertised wholesale in tennessee for 4750 out the door. I dont know if they have any left or not.

The max speed on the Foreman should be between 48-51 MPH. I've only had mine to 43. Mine is a 2004 TRX450FE, the electric shift model. I paid $5150.00 OTD at Tom Clark Motorsports in Belle Vernon, PA. That included sales tax as we have to title the quads here in WV and you have to get a title when you finanace through Honda. I bought it in March 2004. I think I got a pretty good deal there, lol!!!

 

I bought a 2004 foreman es last oct. in upstate ny new.I paid 4800 and change and it came with a cycle country plow.I have had my up to 50mph.It is a nice machine but i wish i would have waited till the 2005 came out.I hope you didnt get ripped and enjoy your machine.

 

we have had ours up to 53 with me on it and i weigh 132 when i rode it. it was on a very slight downhill grade .

 

had my 02 up to 62 with a 500 vision pushing me lol, i get about the same speed as every bodey else
