refill shocks

A lot of stock shocks, just aren't rebuildable. It's not like a dirt bike fork where you can refill the oil.
You can check with Works Performance or somebody like that to see what can or can't be done.

the same thing happend to my 300ex last fall. They broke off right above the lower mount and the oil leaked out. After i couldn't seem do find anything out i was forced to play $189 for 1! shock at my local dealer. I would have boughten from e-bay but i live in canada and shipping prices across the boarder are jacked .

Were the shipping charges so bad that a shock that would have cost around 20 bucks on ebay plus shipping was more expensive than 200 bucks at the dealer???
