Does anyone know if its possible to replace the headlight assembly on an older 03 400EX model to the new and improved look of an 05 400EX?

 

you would need all the plastics from the '05 for it to work.i wanna put the 450r plastics on my '05 400ex; does any one know if they will bolt right on?

 

I dont think the 450r plastic will. I do think the 05 400ex plastic will bolt right to the older ones. I wondered the same thing so I took alot of hard looks. Every mounting point seems to be the same on an 01 as the 05.

 

do the older models use the same little black plug things to hold them on cause thats what the '05 uses
