The 300EX is one of the best trail bikes out there! It has descent power, great handling, and real sport bike suspension. The motor is bullitproof but a little underpowered, it does however hop up pretty well. It is a high quality machine that will last for many years.

The Blaster is a kick to ride, but not as durable or of as high quality as the EX. On our Blaster, every weld on the swingarm cracked. Thing is, it was being ridden by the same people and in the same way as our EX, and the EX never had a problem. I think of the Blaster more as a disposable bike that a kid rides for a couple of years, then moves on to something else. I think of the EX as more of a long term keeper.

The Z250 isn't in the same league as the other two. I would pass it by.

I bought a 2002 300EX last year and I love it. It is awsome in the trails and has pretty good power enough to get you in trouble but not enough to scare you. When I got it I had to replace axle bearings and brakes and that was it on mine. I love the clutch it is the 1st bike I have had with a clutch and now that I have it I love it the clutch only sucks when you get stuck!

Default is the ex300 any good?

Because of all the wonderful words and appraisals, I Ordered a 2005 300ex today. I should get delivery by end week.
The only thing i feel makes it look not soo good is the big square light they put. They couldve intergrated with the front end.

Well thanks for the help and I hope i enjoy it this weekend.
