Congratulations dude!

What color did you get, red or yellow?

After I got a new quad last month, my dad took it for a ride, and later that night he told me he'd like a quad as well. And I think a TRX 300EX would be an excellent bike for him, since it's got electric start and reverse, yet still is nimble and powerful enough to have fun with it.

Just remember to break her in appropiately when you take her for a first ride.

They only offering red ones at the moment here.

Are you suppose to take it easy with a new bike in regards to the engine.
Is it like a car, where you need to be easy for the 1st 2000km or can you start from day one.

ATV's do require a break-in period. Your manual should include details regarding the manufacturer's recommended break-in procedures.

Actually I wondered the same thing when I got my quad last month. This is the break-in guide Scooter86 led me to, it's very interesting reading: Break-in Secrets

Jardell, being a frist time buyer, I would assume you have little experience with a clutch and riding four wheelers? I would ride well within your abilities at first, keep yourself safe and enjoying the new toy. If you break it in like the above link, please just be sure to do it safely. You don't have to go overboard to put a good load on the engine. In any case, Congrats on the new wheeler
