Yesterday I went for an afternoon ride with a new buddy of mine, who happens to live just a couple of blocks from where I live, and has a black (2005) TRX 450R.

We then were comparing the slight differences between his quad and my 2004 (such as the slightly modified "wing" graphics), and we both noted the seat padding on mine was a bit stiffer than on his. Not a lot, but still noticeably stiffer.

Does anyone know if Honda used a different, softer seat cushion material for their 2005 vs. 2004 "R"s?

 

maybe you just broke yours in more...lol....sorry..dont have a clue

 

I have an 04 and my brother has an 05. We think mine is a little softer. there must be a bit of variance in the foam. Some get luckier then others.
