can some one tell me if a arm from a 400ex fit on a 300ex? if so how much troble is it to change? my g/f 300ex is too short of wheel base would that be a good thing to do far as climin hill's?

 

You can swap 400ex arms onto a 300ex. It won't give you any wheel base but will give you about 3 inches of width. You need the stock 400 tie rods also. The rest is nut and bolts.

I'am pretty sure it will. But if it doesnt, I know that ones from 250Rs will work. But you will have to buy a 250R shock for it b/c of the linkage. And if you got a 400EX one and it fits, then you will have to get a 250R shock b/c its remote rezzie and the 400 shock is piggyback rezzie and wont fit. You may have to get a new pivot bolt to. But I'am sure if the 250R will, than the 400EX will to.
