What is the best tire
#1
I need new tires again and I am sick of just picking any old tire out.I just want a good tire one that works well.I need new fronts also I have tried quite a few kinds but never real happy about any of them.I ride in alot of sand, stone, woods,But have to ride down train tracks to get to the pit. 1999 400EX 87mm J&E 10.8 to 1 ,web cam stroked by powroll. It keeps pulling I love it the stroker made the biggest differance.top end is almost 80 but needs to be faster also a few other mods

I know guys rave about hole-shots.Never tried them. But i've riden with Mud Sharks.stock tires, and Shredders.Shredders for my money.I too ride woods, rocks, pavement etc and to be honest if you see guys riding ask them what they think about the tires they are using and maybe they will let you try their unit out and you will see for yourself.Mud Sharks too ruff riding for pavement and woods. Holeshots are too soft.. That is y the MX'ers run them..You'll run through them to fast.. I run shreaders here in vegas and think they are the best for hardpack... i went through the stockers in a month. I still have on teh same shreaders that I put on when I maded the change..

I HAVE SHREDERS FRONT AND BACK AND IT MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN CONTROL AND TRACTION. STAY OFF THE PAVEMTN THOUGH. HEHE I LERNED THAT THE TUFF WAY. BUT THEY ARE VERY DURABLE BEFORE THIS SET I HAD SOME ON 250X AND THEY LASTED FOR 3 YEARS AND I RIDE IN ROCKS,SAND,AND DIRT SO I WOULD SAY THEY ARE TUFF STUFF.

I have Holeshots now and I'm not that enthused with them. I might give the Bandits a try though. I heard that there pretty good!!
