Default Problem with ES on Foreman

On my '04 Foreman ES, when shifting from 2nd to 3rd there has been a slight delay (maybe 1 second). This has only happened on two occasions, and after shifting from 2nd to 3rd a couple of times, it seems to be back to normal. It only happens when shifting from 2nd to 3rd, and it seems to fix itself after a couple of shifts. Any ideas?

Suggest you adjust your clutch first, easy to do.

Default Problem with ES on Foreman

Have you tried taking apart the shifting unit on the handlebar?? My buddy has a Rubicon and one day it started shifting intermittently until it completely stopped. Once we took the unit apart, there was dirt and mud beyond belief caked up inside there preventing contact. After cleaning it, everything worked fine. Hope this helps!
