Congrats on the new machine. I know Roll Design is a very well-respected company for A-arms.

I got the fully adjustable ASR brand arms from E-bay. They are sub $400, and came with tie-rods. They are great. I ride my 450 then my brothers and there isn't any comparision.

That I cannot help you with, as I don't own one myself. I've heard lots of good stories about the suspension though responding to adjustments very well and actually being able to "feel" the difference with only a click or two, which is saying a lot compared to many sport quads. I'm sure you'll get that straightened out.

Read all the stuff we have posted on break-in and maintenance (oil changes and oils).

Just remember, if you get wider a-arms you more than likely will need new shocks.

Congrats on your purchase Cole.

I wasn't that big of a fan of the 450R myself until most recently after spending more time on and around them. They add the magic button and keep the weight within 5 lbs of the current model and I will own one myself.

Starky is right about the shocks. The added leverage ratio of the arms changes ALL of your geometry. Steering and the suspension in general. Of course, some arms aren't even designed for stock shocks.......so do some digging before buying a set.

I ride the 450 in the desert. A lot of it is wide open, but even so you can end up in some very narrow canyons and there is also lots of motorcycle single track. It would be nice to be much wider in front, but then I would have to avoid some narrow trails. My solution has been to run wider tires and rims with a greater offset for a little added width, but not so much that I am as wide as one would want to be if you were riding a track.

I run Holeshot XC's and Baja rims, which makes me +3 in back and +2 in front, without changing a-arms or suspension.
