Default honda whut were u thinking????

i am trying to take my front plastics off and i can't get the plug out that connects the lights and also i can't get the simular one unpluged that connects the key, from whut i can see you have to push down three tabs but i can hardly push them down let allown all three at once and pull!!! how are u supose to do it???? lol im shure it will be some easy thing but please help!


also i am taking my a-armas off and i can't get the part that holds the axle and break off, i have the two nuts off and one slid out real easy but the othor one won't!!! ive tryed everything short of cutting it!! any ideas?? thanx !!

As far as I can remember, just push the tabs in and pull. Take a small flat head and break em loose a little, then they should flex easier.

And Im not exactly sure where you are talking about on the a-arms, but you pretty much have to have a ball joint seperator to break them loose.

Hit the end of the a-arm where the bolt goes through with a hammer. You don't hit the bolt itself. You hit the a-arm.

ok thanx for the help. i got three of them off and wouldn't u knowit yeh forth one wouldn't come off!! i ended up screwig up the thread on the a arme now do i have to buy all new a armes?

On electrical connectors there is only one tab to push in. I also use small flat blade screw driver to get leverage. Once apart be sure and pack connector well with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion and make easier to pull apart next time.

lower a-arms about $36 plus shipping, upper is about $55. I would try rethreading it first. Take one of the nuts to a hardware store so you can find out the thread pattern. Then look at the tap and die section. You need to buy the die that matches the bolt pattern.

where could i pick up some of these a armes for 50$i looked on rockey moutin and the only ones they hade were 400$$$$4[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

You can also try a thread file. Nice because there are usually 8 different thread pitches on it.
