how do you jump a big jump with out landing hard?

 

how big of jump are you talking about. and make sure that you dont underjump it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img] if any thing overjump it

 

get speed

 

first off baby steps will keep you healthy and having fun....
as far as landing a big air jump softly
1 land on the gas
2 land square to the landing

its better to overjump and bottom out then not clear it and smack the landing

DONT hit the brakes in mid air unless your nose-high.

dont sit down when you jump

dont let off at the lip of the jump, keep on the throttle until in the air, or better yet give it gas at the lip of the jump

 

Start out on table tops, rather than doubles.

 

table tops are life savers for someone new to big jumps. if u get scared going up to a jump DO NOT slow down!

 

be careful what u chose to jump pick a level liped jump esspesaily to start with realxe ur arms and as u get to the jump don't let off and if im nervous about a jump and i don't have a set distanse to clrear i like to goose it from the middle of the jump to the lip



mid air corections
nose dive = get the rear wheels spining
tail dive = clutch in tap breaks and for the most party deal with it

 

When i made my first jump i made it where i was jumping onto a hill so landing wasnt a problem. I doesnt look cool but you wont worry bout hard landings. Loook in my pro at my head on picture.
