i was wondering if (with the mods in my signiture) i would be able to ride with a group of 400 (z,ex,ect) after boring it to 330 and 11-1 copresion cam rev limiter change and oil cooler all from fst. im not saying put them to shame but if i could keep up and have a good tiem (ie not look bad).

 

Trail riding yes. If you want to drag then no. 300s are really nimble in the woods. Even stock, a 300 can keep up unless you have big straightaways.

i ride trail alot and track alittle i might go to the dunes. i posted this thread because i am about to invest alot more into my bike and wasn't sure if it was worth it. i am starting to ride with a faster crowd now (my old group was a bunch of little quads the biggest next to mine was as recon lmao) and wasn't sure if i should just pull the dip stick and roll a new quad under or finsh up this one. i am very very fond of this bike it was first sport quad and i got it new in o3. i jsut didn't want to invest anthoer 1500 in a bike that would get its tail handed to it in average trail and light track (possibly dune riding) i wasn't sure because i have never ridden with any of the bigger quads
