450R Size?
#1
I am 6-4...290lbs. Anyone around this size ridden one of these bikes? i used to ride a 300ex till i started bottoming out the shocks just by looking at the thing. Haven't riden in 4 years, and looking to get back into it. Sitting on them on the showroom floor just doesn't give me the feeling that the trails do.
Thanks,
Greg

Man of your size needs a Bombardier DS650. I have few friends that are 6'+ and ride DS's. They absolutely love them. I myself have one (5'8" 190lbs) and feel its too big for me. It is the most comfortable quad I have ridin but I grew up riding mx and like the smaller quads. Just my 2 cents.

I'm 6'2" and weigh 240 lbs.
My R is perfect for me, and I mostly ride with my shock settings all the way to the soft ride position.
I used to like my brother-in-law's DS650 just fine, but after I got my R, there's just no comparison in my opinion.
I hear many people find the DS650's suspension very comfortable, but after riding my Honda, the DS seemed way too stiff, too tall, too heavy and too bulky.
And yeah...I may be very biased towards 450R's, but that's just it - I'm friggin' IN LOVE with this quad!
