will the 400ex a arms bolt right up to the 300 ex without any modifications, and if so how many inches do they add to the front??

I was told by Burgard Cycle that 400ex stockers bolt right on and they are equivalent to +2 because the 400ex frame is narrower than the 300ex frame up front.

i heard they also bolt right up but the shocks won't bolt up then
