Not quite sure about your question???

The stock one is little and restrictive. You pull it out with the HRC package, and replace it with a bigger end cap. So anybody who is stock is "running one of these", and anybody who has the HRC kit isn't.

There is a company making just the two inch insert to replace the stock one without having to purchase the HRC kit. My question is, has anybody tried one of these two inch inserts?

I know of three of them running around. I have one as does my brother and a friend. I have the lid off and the 2" ebay end cap, and run a 185 main. I drag raced a 450r with a aftermarket muffler and we were even. I see no reason to spend 250 plus dollars for a muffler that a $40 part is equal to.

Thanks for the response. I have already purchased one, because I to thought $40.00 was pretty reasonable. I have only had my R for a little over a week and it has so much power in my opinion that I dont want to spend $300.00 - $600.00 on an exhaust system that it dosn't even need. I just wanted a little "throatiness" so that I could here it when Im riding. Thanks again.

Nobdody is going to keep that heavy stock muffler for long. There should be many HRC's available from folks who have gone with aftermarket mufflers. Hey, I threw mine away just last week! Had to clean out the garage. I would have mailed it to you........no charge.
