400EX Tune-Up Help...
Hey All,
My friend has a 400EX, i believe its a year 2000.
It is in serious need of a tune up. It wont idle, and cold starts are nearly impossible. It takes about 20 minutes to get it started..
Is there any websites that walk threw a tune up? IE: Carb settings, etc..
Its completely stock. But its never been tuned up, I am going to check the spark plug because i am sure it is ready to be replaced, but i know the carb is going to need some adjustment.
Any help you can offer would be apperciated.
Thanks,
Chad

Anyway, It wont even run now. It doesn't even sputter. It seams like its either not getting fuel, or not getting spark.
I took all the plastics off and tried to get the spark plug out, but i tried an assortment of sockets and could not get at the spark plug... Is it a special size, or a custom socket?
Thanks,
