I recently bought a plastic fuel tank for my 87 350D and a aftermarket inline fuel pump (NAPA POSI-FLO 4-7 psi). After the install when riding the atv and I give it more than half throttle it acks like it wants to die and starts shaking till I back off the throttle. the it runs fine again. I think the fuel pumps psi is to low. Any other thoughts.

 

either that, or the fuel pressure is too high. Or maybe you have another fuel problem somewhere, dirty carb, etc.
