Default Current 250r value.

I have a chance to pick up a good running 250r for 1900 bucks. Im not in a financial position to buy and keep it right now, but I was thinking of buying it and selling it for a little profit. It is nothing like showroom floor condition, but it looks to be in real good condition with nothing but bolt-ons like a pipe and bars. Plastic is race cut without a head light. That is all I know for now

I know about any 250R used to be worth around 3500-4000 dollars, but with the 450's out I noticed the 250r value has dropped a lot. What do you guys think a descent 250r will go for.

Thanx in advance!

On the West coast they go for 2700-3500 pretty readily, but you are correct, the values have dropped a LOT for BOTH the 250R and the Banshee since the new 450s have come out!

As mentioned, I'd see what they are going for in your area 1st.

Do you know what year your looking at?

I ran across an original RAT 88 yesterday advertised price was $ 3000.00. Also a frankenstein 89 for 2300.

88-89 will be desired by most.

I keep wanting to take a second look at that 88, with 15-1800 bucks in my pocket.
