If I was to install a stage 1 hotcam with a stock bore, which compression ratio would you go for and why. Both piston kits would be from weisco.

10 TO 1 for reliability
for use of lower octane gas
and the stage 1 cam is better suited to 10 to 1

Would a stage 2 cam and a 440 big bore kit be good together with 11:1 piston?

I would go with the 11:1 there very reliable Have it on mine and its ran great for a year never had any problems with it (nock on wood)

But the less reliable is the 13:1 compression and things like that

the 11:1 piston you have the option of running race gas or not but you do half 2 run the 93 octain in it all the time no cheep stuff

i would go with the 11:1 because the ratio is probably not a true 11:1.
