Is it possible to over cam a quad by chance? .. i've got everything done to my motor .. stroked bored and everything.. not bored much though.. only like 20 over .. but i've got a huuuge cam for it(web cam grind 240).. and its slow.. a stock 300 beats it.. is it possible that it could be over cammed? blasters beat it .. stock 300's .. hell even a 1991 4x4 300 beat it and its stock.. ?? confused by it

Does it come on strong once it get wound up? A buddy of mine has done the same thing to a 250x. It has no bottom end, but once it gets in the upper rpm's, it flat gets with it!! His solution was to change the gearing to get it running in the rpm range he wants. I have a feeling it won't be a fast machine, but it should pull your arms off getting up to speed.
By the way, we had an LT80 all modded out and it would easly beat a 91 300 4x4!!

i believe its called overlap. its where the exhuast and intake durations overlap and air enters and exits before it's even burnt. i dont know if this is your problem though, but i believe that is the correct term.
