I got pulled over driving home from ridin still in full gear muddy as hell quad in the back of the truck. and he asks if i had been ridin. DUH im a smart A$$ and said no sir! so he trys to tell me that i was ridin on private land and that i was trespassing. it was private land but fortunately i knew the guy that owns it and he just happens to be my boss. so i tell him this as i hand him my cellphone and tell him to press send and call Mr. Cunningham to confirm what i was saying. so he finally got fed up about me outsmarting him checked my plates, lic, and insurance let me go. he kept following me for a few miles and we got outiside of the city limits and hit a stopsign. and he wouldnt quit following me. so i pulled over got out, went in the back of my truck started the 400 and did a good 30 sec burnout in the back of my truck, as the smoke cleared I smiled at him and there was nothing he could do about it. Right or wrong, it's still quite a rush to have cops in your tail. Especially at the point where you realize they didn't catch you!

haha ya....when we got to the friends house that we ran to...he was like dude i got my corvette lets go by kaleb (the guy on the 125) and tape his a$$ in cuffs lol...i was like ya then we will be in the cuffs too u idiot...lol but ya got my blood pumping...pretty fun

Dont run from the cops!!!! They have whats called a cb radio, and enough back-up to fend off a small army. You may get away, but next time you might get caught, or worse wreck and get hurt. Those cops will remember your a$$ to.

 

A buddy of mine got his plate number taken by a cop and later that day the cop went back to his mom's house and his mother chewed him out hardcore. At which time the cop told her that in New York at least a cop cannot legally chase or persue an atv. They can only take their plate numbers and try to pull them over the first try with lights and blocking their way...This is what I was told by him so idk on its legallity but, just thought i would throw it in. I
ve also had my plate taken by some mean hag who had un-posted land, cankles, and a horible temper but the cop threatened me with traffic violation and points on my license but he eventually took it down to a warning with no fine or penalty.

In my situation...it works best to cooperate, be pleasent, and play stupid.

 

An assumption that wasn't part of the story. Maybe the cops knew him already.
