wiring help for a 89 Honda TRX300
I am rewiring this unit as many of the wires were aged and causing electrical issues. I have a Haynes manual with a wiring diagram but have a couple of questions.
1) the alarm unit does not show a pink wire comming from it but it has a P for no reason at all. This looks like they made a mistake and forgot to draw the line in. That line hooks up to the pink in the ignition swith and then terminates at an option plug at the rear of the quad. Is this correct?
2) same circuit, the re is supposed to be another pink wire going to the dc consent unit. What is a dc consent unit and where is it located? I cannot find it or another pink wire anywhere on the quad.
Many thanks for those who will try to help.

updated info.
Haynes calls it DC consent but it the Honda online parts info found at bikebandit.com may be calling it the DC Receptacle+ the Receptacle body. Does anyone know where this is located on the atv?
I think it is items 7,8, and 9 on this web page
