Tires for 2002 Rubicon

I'm going to upgrade my rear tires, but what im curious about is does it pay to have the same 4 tires all the way around...the bike has enough power that you don't need to have hug mud tires on the front, i think that would just make it that much heavier, and that much stiffer in the front end. So i guess what Im asking is, what tires do you recommend for the front end, and for the rear end.
I have Titan 589M/T on my old bike, my 300 Bayou and I love them. I will porbably get them again, unless someone can convince me oherwise

If the bike is 4x4 (I presume it is) then they have to at least be the same size, but they dont necessarilly have to be the same tread. Lots of bikes come stock with a more agressive tire, in fact I think the Rincon has signifantly different front and back tires. (if not, the one I seen did). A decent front tire can help hook you up out of a hole, but a good wide rear tire will do alot of the work.

if i was going to put another set of tires on my rubicon i would go with the mud bugs they are the best bang for your buck.
i have seen them on 4 differand quads and i think they are an awsome tire.
and there almost as light as the mud lites.
and they put the mud lites to shame on any terrane.
i have mud lites on my honda and i think there a good tire but the bugs are way better and cost less.
26x10x12s and 26x12x12s on the back.
thats what i would get.
my buddy has 27" mud lites on his rubicon and there a bit taller then the 27"mud bugs.
so the 26" or 27" should fit just fine.
i also have had gators on my 03 500 arctic cat and i thought they were an awsome tire and the mud bugs are almost identacle to the gators but weigh about 10lbs a tire less each.
and if you realy want an awsome tire get the mud zillas i have the 28" ones on my kawi 700p and i love them but i wouldent go that big on the rubicon i would stick with the 26" tires.
im more impressed with my zillas every time i go riding.
i think out of the three i have owned and the mud bugs my buddys have i would go for the bugs or if you got the bucks get the zillas there awsome.
good luck with your choice.
