Battery failure
#1
In May I put a new battery in my Foreman. The battery I replaced was the factory original. In July my machine was wrecked and flipped over backwards ( Long story and bad feelings towards the kid who wrecked it. ) Twice since the wreck I've experienced a dead battery but the battery would always take a charge. This past two weeks I was out of town on a hunting trip and the battery was deader than dead and wouldn't hold a charge, I had to pull start it. I can't see that the battery is damaged anywhere but I'm wondering if the battery going upside down maybe screwed something up? Now when I put a charger on it I can hear it bubbling which I also think is unusual. Thanks for any info.

Is the battery sealed? You could have lost some of the fluids from inside it when it flipped.
I had a 300ex with battery problems...turned out to be a broken terminal that was not noticable from a visual inspection. I took the filler cap off the top of the battery and found that the terminal was cracked pretty bad from a roll over type crash.
