On my R the rear shock bottoms out alot and easily what would cause this? Would having it rebuilt help? What do they do to rebuild it?

I changed my shock oil and had it recharged with nitrogen for under $25.

If you have it rebuilt and recharged and set the preload and damping it should be alright.
