I have both the 2wd Rancher and Recon. The 2wd utes are sweet machines! This one should be excellent, but sorry I don't know of anyone who has one.

Hey recon, really not meaning to change the subject, but are you hearing any more rumors at all like last year about a possible lightweight 4x4 again or do you think it's pretty much a dead idea? You know I would be VERY interested in any information you may have, no matter what the source. Sorry psi500, no more off-topic posts, I promise.

No! Last year even the magazines were saying their "spies" had seen it being tested. This year, nothing.................

Hopefully it wasn't just a prototype that will never see the light of day.

Thanks Reconranger.I ride with a guy who has a rancher 2x4 and he goes where all 4x4 go without any problems. i was looking at buying the Foreman 2x4 saw a real cheep price on 1 on the net. i ride mostly trails and sand with mud if you want it. Also like the rancher at, so I guess i will have to make up my mind someday soon.

for what you do the rancher at is not a bad choice.... with traxloc and the auto if you like that is great..

p.s. the bump from 350 to 400 gives it a little something as far as speed.. bragging rights!!
