Looking for some information on the 440 and 426 big bore kits...

-which ones more reliable
-how much of a power difference is there between the two of them.
-Are there any downfalls with a big bore kit.
-which one would you be better off getting if the cost isn't an issue
-what would be the best compression ratio to use with the 440 and 426 for the best power increase but still be reliable.

 

i bet the 426 kit is more relieble because it requires less drillin for the new sleeve to go it so it makes it stronger than the 440

 

ya if i were you id go with that 426. Its got to be more reliable and last longer. And that way if you ever need to bore out because you had a problem or something you could always do it and it could save you a lot of money. The downfalls of big bore is that your motor life is cut down. And sorry i dont know about the power gains.
