I have the fmf powercore4 exhaust on my 05' 300ex.I mainly chose the fmf over the others for the fact that it came with the header pipe included in the price.Nice quality, bolted right up like it was suppose too.I would say its loud but I think about any straight through exhaust is going to be.But its a nice deep tone that kind of grows on you.I also added a dynojet jet kit and k&n air filter at the same time.

What kind of power gains did you get with that muffler and header?

Can't give you actual numbers but you can definitely feel the difference. It seems to have more torque when you hit the throttle.

450R- Factory 4 Full System with PowerBomb Header

Z400- Ti 4 Full System with PowerBomb Header

400EX- PowerCore IV Full System with PowerBomb Header

Ranchers, 250EX, Recon- MegaMax II

My former 300EX and Warrior had PowerCore IV's, and the Blaster had a TurbineCore and a FFT pipe

Am I an FMF guy, or what?

Default FMF exhaust

Hi there, I am just like you by just looking a FMF Factory anodized blue it is sweet, however wonder if you can give some advise on my 2004-TRX450R, I am runing stock and I like to make it go fast, wonder if I should install a HRC kit first or exhaust first. I am FMF guy too, but spoke few sales people some try to talk me in to a Big Gun EVO X full system stainless steel, I don't whether if I should beleive I am thinking maybe he makes more money on Big Guns.

Re: Slipon or Full system
Please advise if I install a slip, I will not increase horsepower but only gets the sound different correct.

Thanks
Frank
