300ex seems to be smoking blue on startup until it warms up.does anyone know what could be wrong?all replies would be helpful.

 

If it only lets out blue smoke when you first start it up, that usually means valve seals. If it is just the valve seals, it won't hurt anything to keep using it, as long as you keep an eye on the oil level.

means the bike is now run in (not really, but hey, its honda, will never die).......lol......just watch ya oil thats all

whats ya cam chain like.......if the seals are getting worn maybe the camchain is too....if your going to do any work on you bike.......slap a new one in while doing the seals.......and port and polish it too
