Hopes for Hondas for 2006

I am really interested in the new 2006 quads from Honda. These new colors don't mean
dog crap, I want to see Honda give us what we want in a big bore quad. The Rincon is
a disappointment to many, the Rubicon is probably great but doesn't have a lot of
features you get from competive atv companies. I cannot remember if we were as
excited last year when the 2005 machines were due to come out. So far we haven't
heard any really good news out of Honda for 2006, of major changes in giving us
EFI, IRS, Lockers, Adjustable shocks, a better rear brakings system than drums, and
low range on their big machines. These are the things I am looking for and hope to
see, what about some of you

Those except the Honda loyalists will probably never again be satisifed with a red machine because Honda has built it's name around reliability. The engines are simple so they last a long time. Same with suspensions, brakes, etc. although not as dramatic. Unless they find a way to get very reliable, yet exciting power at the same time, Honda will probably always lag behind the competition a little.

I was at a Honda dealership today. The owner was telling me he has owned the
business for over 30 years now, and is very disgusted with Honda always lagging
behind. He said that Yamaha has allready disclosed it 2006 lineup and he was
expecting some in this coming week. He claimed that the only Honda that they
haven't seen is the 650, so he claims thats the one they are playing with. We will
see.

On the Honda web site, no Trax-Lok for 06 on the Rancher 350........big mistake!
I would like to see a manual shift Rancher 400. From all accounts, the AT is gutless and there are several few posts on electronic glitches with the AT transmission controls, so no thanks.
Last year there was rumor of an ultralight sporty 250cc 4X4. I would like to see it as something along the line of the "old" Wolverine. (The "new" Wolverine seems to be nothing but a utility without racks.........dumb idea!)
A CRF250X engine in a 300EX frame.
I think a 350EX would sell well. Something along the lines of the Recon--->250EX idea, except it would be a Rancher-->350EX. The 2wd Rancher is fairly sporty. Just lighten it up, pull off the racks, and give it better suspension. Lots of folks are intimidated by a full manual hand clutch, but are willing to learn an autoclutch. (A fully automatic trans is an abomination in a sport bike, so thank you Honda for not coming out with one!)
