I have a 400EX with White Bro, E series. I need to quiet it down to meet DB standards. I took out 5 disks and that helped. But I heard that repacking may help also. The packing in the pipe is at least 3-4 seasons old. I got it all out, my question is, How much to put back in. Is the answer pack it as full as it will hold? or what? Thanks

 

Yeah, but don't just cram it in there. Wrap it around the center core, then put back in the can. I got 2 full loops of FMF packing into my E-series.
