it's a tie between the Rubester and the Foreman 500. Kawi's are nowhere near as durable. There are a lot of good quads out there that serve their purpose very well, but Honda's are unbeatable when it comes to utility. I don't think you were asking what would blow what away? anyway, where you?

Heavy enough to haul things without spinning tires, and great for plowing

biggest rack capacity? ....that's just AC's very generous rating. If you really load the racks up on the AC with it's IRS and long travel it will squat like a bloated mule with PMS. IRS is a hinderence for utility, and the axels would be tore into several pieces after a short period of time of heavy pulling. I'm positive most guys experienced with utility atv's and heavy work will agree that the AC is a poor choice for many reasons. Nothing will stand up to years of hard work, abuse, and even poor maintenance like a Honda, even most guys who dislike Honda still admit that much.

You obviously never have never even seen an Arctic Cat. First off, the size of the rack is a lot larger then other ATV's, allowing for more things to be put on there, they also have attachments to add for extra gear.
I live in Alaska, and we have many mountains up here. Now does my Cat have a higher center of gravity then the old TRX200, yes. However it will go where ever I want it to. It is not like I come to a mountan and say "well, this one is steep, better get on the Honda!" Give me a break man. You also have never seen the IRS setup. It is adjustable and you can get that thing so tight that it won't squat at all. I have towed around 21'+ boats with 225hp engines and my suspension was no hinderence and I never broke an axel doing it either. But I guess you know more about that then me with all your experience on them huh.

I am by no means bashing your precious Honda, or saying it is bad. I just answered the question.

It is amazing how many 16 year old kids come on this site and bash other people's ATV's to feel better about themselves.

 

Best Work utility atv: Traxter max, it will out pull, outwork anything out there.

Best Trail utility atv: Prairie 700:-2x4/4x4, (Do not have to buy a Warn 424 kit)
-Front locker, (4x4 supposed to be 4x4 not 4x3)
-front disk brakes, (do not have to buy a HighLifter front disk kit)
-rear oil sealed brakes,(do not have to buy a HighLifter rear disk kit)
-for sra excellent ride,(do not have to buy a padded seat)
-V-twin power,(bad, have to wait for others)
-belt allot cheaper than Hondamatic to replace($1800cnd, I priced them
and they are not repairable, sealed unit)

Best Mudder/rock crawl utility atv: Brute Force 750, same as above but
-with independent for better mudding/rock crawl clearance
-more cc's to beat those Honda's wannabees..

 

when i said that the 700 prarie would blow the honda away i dident mean in speed i ment in everything.
the honda is a good trail quad but not as good as the kawi.
the only thing i like better on the honda is the tranny.
and thats it.
and as for the arctic cat i have to agree with pete16.
i had an 03 500 manual and you cant beat the ride for cruising down old dirt roads but it sucks on the trail.
i do alot of trail riding and the cat is to big for tight trails and with a heavy lode it dose squat like a bloated mule.
and going up seep hills the cat tends to pull the front wheels my kawi dose not do this.
Also this is not a poll about dreem machines its about whats out there now.
and i ride with a ton of other name brand quads and in my opinion the kawi rules.
i think its an even better quad then the brute because of the irs on the brute.
im not an irs fan so it lost my vote.
and i havent seen a traxter in action so i have no opinion on them.
but you could be right.
like i once said about my honda i now say about my kawi.
kawasaki rules and the rest all drool.

 

i say my Sportsman 700 !!!!!!!! it pull a 3000abs load with no po.

honda is better then the polaris.
polaris are to heavy and suck on tight trails.
and i think he dosent know what hes talking about when it comes to hondas.

 

in my opinion i think the rincon is the way to go if you are looking for a utility atv.
