Hey guys, I am new to the site. I have been hearing from a few of my friends that Honda is coming out with a 750 with the rubicon tranny. Has anyone else heard this?

Oh well I heard a rumor about a 650ex..... I don't think you will see anything real soon though..
Honda seems to be draging their feet on the R&D.....

In other posts, we have discussed at great length the topic of the hondamaitc transmission in a bike with a larger engine. I recall reading in Honda's own literature that that trans doesn't adapt well to larger engines............precisely why Honda didn't use it in the Rincon 650 (but did use it in the Rancher 400AT).

If you go to Honda's web site, there is no 06 listing for the Rincon, so it may be getting an update. I could imagine them bumping the displacement of that machine up to 750. All I can say is they better give the thing some engine braking while they are at it. As it is, that turkey is useless for any technical riding. I guess they meant to build a cruiser couch for the flatlands.

No 06 listings for the 450R, 250EX, or 90, so we are expecting possible updates there as well.
