i just got word from the guys over at 450r.org that there will be no more hrc kits? possinly the 06 will have a similar set up and thats why there will be no more sold

 

Makes sense that to compete with the bumped up displacement of the YFZ, that they might just make the HRC mods stock for 06????

 

The displacement of the YFZ was bumped up but the compression was dropped.

 

they probably did that go along with the head work they did too. less compression dosent mean less hp with a different set up

 

i posted this under the honda 2006 topic.you can't buy the kit but can still buy it separate .rumor has it the 06 450r are coming from the factory with the hrc cam in.plus there are going to be some frame changes too on the 06 450r.i was told the 06 450r will have a advantage over the 04&05 450r so looks like thier going to do more to the 450r than change colors.

 

yeah they wont do all the hrc mods, just the cam. that wouldnt bother me too much cause i have the kit in mine. the other changes i might want though
