Default 250r problem

ok im a dumb a** i tryed to use exhaust wrap to help fix the problem i wraped it around where the two pieces of pipe meet and it actually over lapped inside the pipe so innocently i folded it over inside the pipe.... i started the bike and it ran shi*tty so i took the pipe off and found out that the pipe wrap that was overlapped inside the pipe was ripped off so i just took it all off i did not start the bike since then do you think it is possible that i screwed up the motor because the pieces of muffler wrap are no where to be found inside the pipe i just hope it didnt get sucked back into the motor??? please advise

Does it kick over freely without a spark plug in the motor. Do a compression test. If it all checks out let er rip. It prolly got blown out. Did you take apart your silencer can and re-pack it? Make sure the muffler bearing spins freely.

Diddnt you already have a post about muffler wrap?
