400ex bearings

Default 400ex bearings

any i deas about getting the bearings out of the front hub of my 400ex? they are not coming out and i pounded the the ****ing things!

try taking a socket that fits really snug around the out side ring of the bearing and beat the hell out of the socket and it sould work but make sure you get it even coming out or it will bind and you will be screwed!! and spray some WD40 on it also to lube it up that will help! same thing for putting them back in ok!! you should be good now

Default 400ex bearings

I had this problm with my 400 some one told me to put it in the oven for 3-5 mins put the oven on 350 pull it out and try to knoch them out. how it helps

heat is your friend. A torch works well.
