new rider here!

Well I got an atv for myself. I am a beginner and i got a 2002 Honda TRX500FA barely driven 2,000$(tires were lik new) the guy i bought it from got it and flipped it and left it in his garage for 3 years and now he finally decided to sell it and all i had to do was just fix some bent pipes and wheel alignment. I know 500cc for beginners is way to much but i got it really cheap.
Well... Im new to this whole atv thing so i have some questions.
1. I wanna put some modifications on this thing, what can i buy?
2. Should i sell this and get a sport atv or its not worth it?
3. Is there any website where i can find local tracks?
4. And can i jump on a utility atv?
5. What do you guys think of the atv i got, in general?
6. Do I need any special oil for it? Or jsut regular 4-stroke?

welcome to the forums. i am not too much into the ute quads so i wont be much help on the quad questions. #2 yes sport quads are the only way to go if you want to jump. #4 i guess i already answered that question. Utes are a blast dont get me wrong i have fun on a friends in the mud all the time, but they just dont suit me well for MOST of my riding.
